Who we are
J2FireBeats (https://j2firebeats.com) sells digital music beats and beat licenses. The website is operated by Just Too Fire Productions LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (“J2FireBeats”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email info@j2firebeats.com.
Information we collect
When you buy a beat or license. We collect the billing details our checkout asks for, such as your name, email address, billing address and country, and optionally a phone number. We also keep your order details (beats, license tier, price, date) and records of your file downloads, which include the date and the IP address used. If a parent or legal guardian buys on behalf of a minor, we collect the parent’s or guardian’s details.
Payments. Card and wallet payments (including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Link) are entered into Stripe’s secure fields. We never see or store your full card number. If you choose to save a card or use Stripe Link, Stripe stores those payment details.
If you create an account. Accounts are optional, and you can always check out as a guest. If you create one at checkout, we store your email address, an automatically generated username and a securely hashed password. Your account lets you view orders and re-download purchases.
When you contact us. Through our contact form we collect your name, email address, inquiry type, optional order number and message, plus the date, time and page you sent it from. We do not record your IP address or browser details with contact messages. If you email info@j2firebeats.com, we receive whatever you include in that email.
When you review a product. We collect your name, email address, rating and review, and WordPress records the IP address and browser details used to submit it. Your name, rating and review are shown publicly on the product page.
Automatically. Our hosting server receives your IP address and browser information when you visit. We also use cookies and similar technology, described below.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and deliver your order, including download access; send order confirmations and receipts; answer your messages; prevent fraud and keep the site secure; and keep business, tax and accounting records. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as needed for their service:
- Hostinger hosts our website, its database and our info@j2firebeats.com mailbox.
- Stripe processes payments and screens them for fraud. Stripe also gathers information about your device and activity on pages where its payment script runs. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Google sends our emails through Gmail (see “How we send email” below) and serves the web fonts our pages use. Loading those fonts sends your IP address and browser details to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic. We use Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, to help administer our website and run the business, for example building and testing web pages, reviewing store settings and organizing our email. When we use it for these tasks, Claude can access information stored on our website or in our email, which may include order details and messages you send us. Claude acts only when we direct it, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about customers. Anthropic handles this information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
How we send email
Our website sends order emails and contact-form notifications through the Gmail API from J2FireBeats’ own Google account (j2firebeats@gmail.com), using the WP Mail SMTP plugin.
- Access. When we connected the plugin, we granted it Google’s full Gmail permission for that one account, which is the permission the plugin requests. It is not connected to any visitor’s or customer’s Google account.
- Use. We use this connection only to send email from our account. We do not use it to read, analyze or delete messages.
- Storage. The plugin stores the connection’s access tokens in our website database. Emails it sends are kept in our Gmail account like any other sent mail.
- Sharing. We do not share data obtained through this connection with anyone, except Google as the email service itself.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cart and session cookies | WooCommerce | Remember your cart and checkout session | Essential | Session, up to about 2 days |
| Login cookies | WordPress | Keep account holders signed in | Essential | Up to 2 days, or 14 days if you choose “Remember me” |

Our website uses cookies to support functions such as shopping carts, checkout, payments, and account login. WooCommerce Order Attribution is currently disabled. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required by law.
How long we keep information
Our retention schedule is:
- Orders and transaction records: seven years, for tax and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
- Contact messages: 12 months after the conversation ends.
- Customer accounts: until you ask us to delete your account. Orders linked to an account follow the order period above.
- Product reviews: for as long as they are displayed, or until you ask us to remove them.
Automatic deletion is not yet in place, so some records may currently be kept longer than these periods. We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to give you a copy of it. Email info@j2firebeats.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we respond within one month or sooner where the law requires. We may keep some records, such as orders, where the law requires us to. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
EU and UK residents. You also have the right to object to or restrict our processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). Our legal bases are:
- Contract: processing orders, delivering downloads and running your account.
- Legal obligation: keeping tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interests: preventing fraud, securing the site, answering messages and improving our store.
US residents. Depending on your state, you may have similar rights to know, delete and correct your information. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the EU or UK, your information will be processed in the United States, whose laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards offered by our providers, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Children and age requirements
Our store is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not create an account or make a purchase, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
You may buy on your own if you have reached the age of majority where you live. That is 18 in most places, but higher in some (for example 19 or 21). If you are 13 or older but under that age, you may buy only through a parent or legal guardian, who enters the license agreement and provides their own details at checkout. We rely on the information given at checkout and do not currently verify ages.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption, payments are handled by Stripe, and passwords are stored hashed. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If changes are significant, we will take additional steps to notify customers where the law requires.
